REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Notice of cancellation (e.g. due to sickness, lack of funding, or any other personal reasons) must be made in writing by email to the respective Global Unicorn Summit Executive. The notification must include all relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted (including IBAN and BIC). The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgment from the respective Global Unicorn Summit secretary is received.

REFUNDS BASED ON NOTICE RECEIVED:

  • Before 60 days of the Global Unicorn Summit: 75% refund
  • Between 60 to 30 days prior to the Global Unicorn Summit: 25% refund
  • Within 30 days of the Global Unicorn Summit: No refund of both registration & accommodation fee
  • Once the refund request is received, Refund will be initiated in 10-15 Working Days.

The date of the email receipt will be the basis for considering refunds.
Refunds will be made after the Global Unicorn Summit. In the case of excess payment or double payment, refund requests must be made in writing and sent to the Global Unicorn Summit to [email protected].

NO REFUNDS:

No refunds will be granted for unattended summits, in the case of cancellation of speakers, lack of space in the summit room, or any other incidents during the summit which are beyond the control of the Global Unicorn Summit organizers. By registering for the Global Unicorn Summit, participants agree that neither the organizing committee nor the Global Unicorn Summit assumes any liability whatsoever.

REFUND PROCESS:

  • For payments received by credit or debit cards, the same credit/debit card will be refunded.
  • For all other payments, a bank transfer will be made to the payeenominated account, and all bank charges will be for the registrant’s account.

VISA REFUSAL:

In the case of VISA refusal, the paid amount can be transferred to another conference as per your choice. Participants who availed discounts on the registration fee are not eligible for refunds, except if the event is cancelled.

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT OF THE GLOBAL UNICORN SUMMIT:

In the event that the Global Unicorn Summit cannot be held or is postponed due to situations beyond the control of the organizers or due to events not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the organizers, the organizers will refund 100% of the registration fee but cannot be held liable by participants for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, flight booking cancellation charges, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc.
